Building Flowstate Playground: Freestyle Thrills in Fortnite

Flowstate Playground – Where Skill Meets Speed

Challenges and Solutions:

Creating a seamless competitive racing experience within Fortnite demanded tailored development strategies. Our goal was to deliver smooth gameplay, a visually exciting landscape, and the intuitive ability to perform stunts – all within UEFN's constraints. Here's how we overcame challenges:

 

  • Physics Precision: Fine-tuning vehicle physics and trick mechanics within UEFN's framework required meticulous adjustments to ensure responsive controls and satisfying movement for players.

  • Island Optimization: Balancing a vast, dynamic environment with UEFN limits forced resourceful strategies to maximize visual impact without sacrificing performance.
